Let’s create a widget!

Creating widgets can be done in two ways; Quickstart and Full Customisation. Let’s check out what each option provides:

Quickstart

First off, select the services you need (Authentication, Balance, Identity, Income, Transactions, Payment authorisation)

Provide an app name and the account types you’d like to connect to. A logo and a callback or redirect URL if you have some extra processing you’d like to do.

Once your app is created, click the view details button on the right and open the app settings Find your app link and start collecting data and payments from your customers.

Full Customisation

With full customisation, build like a pro and create a widget that’s perfect for your team’s needs.

Choose from a list of pre-configured use-cases (Lending, Personal Finance, Digital Banking, Insurance and Remittance) that fit your business. Moreover, you can tweak what services you would specifically want from Okra. The list helps narrow down the most important services your team would need.

When you need to reconfigure your services, check the Products tab to tweak and ensure you have all the services you need.

On the next screen, add your app name, upload your logo and select a theme that matches your brand.

We also provide some more thematic options with choices of backgrounds. From transparent through to custom colours. A spark of creativity always goes a long way especially when it matches your brand.

You can also adjust the institutions you’d like displayed and how they’re displayed with both list and card view as options. This gives your team flexibility on which banks you’d like to work with.

Additionally, you can improve your widget experience with custom success messages and change the text on the redirect button. You can also change Currencies from your NGN or USD wallets, in the widget properties section.
