Introduction
This week, we are super excited to introduce some new features to our dashboard. We are always keen to improve developer tooling across our platform. One of the most requested features is a better developer experience and more clarity to activity with webhooks.
Let’s take a look at the new features coming to the dashboard.
Webhook Logs
Previously, the dashboard only allowed developers to change webhook links to their apps. Based on user feedback, we’ve taken the time to improve the webhooks section by adding a new tab, front and centre, that tracks activities on their webhooks.
The goal is to help create more transparency on what users do on a widget and capture successful and failed sessions. Developers now have more control and visibility into the inner workings of their applications. We’ve also provided a search functionality that allows queries on customer ID, record ID, and filtering based on date ranges and status.
Moreover, in the event of significant failures, developers can easily reach out to our support team for assistance.
Events
The new events panel allows developers an in-depth look into the life cycle of a widget and better identify user journeys on their application’s widget. The goal is to create more transparency on user activity on the platform while maintaining high data privacy standards.
